Terms of Use
Article 1. Use of the website
1.1.
If the website offers an additional secured environment, you must first register in order to use all functionalities of the website. After your registration is completed and your account has been approved by Tandartsen Weeshuis, if necessary, you can immediately log in to your account and fully use the services offered.
1.2.
If you have an account, you must protect access to your account by means of your username and password from unauthorized persons. In particular, you must keep your password strictly confidential. Tandartsen Weeshuis may assume that everything that happens from your account after logging in with your username and password is done under your supervision and control. You are therefore liable for all such actions, unless you have notified Tandartsen Weeshuis that someone else knows your password.
1.3.
If necessary for the service you have requested, Tandartsen Weeshuis may ask you for additional identifying information before the requested service is provided.
1.4.
Tandartsen Weeshuis reserves the right to refuse registrations without giving reasons.
1.5.
The medical information on the website is for general informational purposes only and can never be considered a substitute for a consultation with a specialist. For personal advice, always contact Tandartsen Weeshuis.

Article 2. Rules of use
2.1.
It is prohibited to use the website for actions and/or conduct that violate Dutch or other applicable laws and regulations or public order and decency.
2.2.
If Tandartsen Weeshuis determines that you are violating the above conditions, or receives a complaint about this, it will warn you. If this does not lead to an acceptable solution, Tandartsen Weeshuis may intervene to end the violation. In urgent or serious cases, Tandartsen Weeshuis may intervene without warning.
2.3.
If, in the opinion of Tandartsen Weeshuis, hindrance, damage or other danger arises for the functioning of the computer systems or the network of Tandartsen Weeshuis or third parties and/or of the service provision via the internet, in particular due to excessive sending of emails or other data, leaking of personal data or activities of viruses, Trojans and similar software, Tandartsen Weeshuis is entitled to take all measures it reasonably considers necessary to avert or prevent this danger.
2.4.
Tandartsen Weeshuis is at all times entitled to report detected criminal offenses. Furthermore, Tandartsen Weeshuis is entitled to provide your name, address, IP address and other identifying information to a third party who complains that you are infringing on their rights or these terms of use, provided that the accuracy of that complaint is reasonably plausible, there is no other way to obtain this data and the third party has a clear interest in the disclosure of the data.
2.5.
Tandartsen Weeshuis reserves the right to recover damages resulting from violations of these terms of use from you.
Article 3. Availability and maintenance
3.1.
Tandartsen Weeshuis actively maintains the website. If maintenance is expected to lead to a limitation of availability, Tandartsen Weeshuis will carry this out when the number of visitors is relatively low. Maintenance related to emergencies may take place at any time.
3.2.
Tandartsen Weeshuis may from time to time modify the website and the functionalities on the website.
Article 4. Intellectual property
4.1.
The website, the associated software as well as all information and images on the website are the intellectual property of Tandartsen Weeshuis or its licensors. These may not be copied or used in any way without separate written permission from Tandartsen Weeshuis, except in cases where this is legally permitted.
Article 5. Duration and termination
5.1.
Once you create an account, you enter into an agreement with Tandartsen Weeshuis. This agreement applies for an indefinite period and gives you the right to use the services on the website in accordance with these terms of use.
5.2.
You may terminate the agreement at any time with immediate effect by notifying Tandartsen Weeshuis by email.
5.3.
Tandartsen Weeshuis is entitled to terminate the agreement if you have not used your account for eighteen months. In that case, it will first send a reminder email to the email address linked to your account.
Article 6. Changes to prices and conditions
6.1.
Tandartsen Weeshuis may modify these conditions at any time.
6.2.
Tandartsen Weeshuis will announce changes or additions to these terms of use at least fourteen days before they take effect via the website so that you can take note of them. Changes of minor importance will take effect without announcement.
6.3.
If you do not wish to accept a change or addition, you may terminate the agreement until the effective date. Use of the website after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended or supplemented conditions.
Article 7. Other provisions
7.1.
Dutch law applies to these terms of use.
7.2.
Unless otherwise prescribed by mandatory law, all disputes in connection with the website will be submitted to the competent Dutch court for the district in which Tandartsen Weeshuis is established.
7.3.
If you request an eConsult or repeat prescription through Tandartsen Weeshuis, the Guideline online doctor-patient contact 2007 applies. You can view this guideline on request, or download it from the KNMG website.
7.4.
If any provision of these terms of use proves to be void, this does not affect the validity of the entire terms of use. In that case, the parties will establish (a) new provision(s) as a replacement, giving effect to the intention of the original provision as far as legally possible.
7.5.
Tandartsen Weeshuis is entitled to transfer its rights and obligations under the agreement to a third party that acquires the website or the relevant business activity from it.
7.6.
Deviations from these terms of use are only binding if they have been accepted in writing by Tandartsen Weeshuis.
