Rates and payments

At Tandartsen Weeshuis, we believe it is important for you to know where you stand. Below you can read how our rates are structured, how invoicing takes place and what you can expect regarding payment and reimbursement.

Dental rates

We use the nationally established rates for dental care, as determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). These rates are the same for all dental practices and can be found at www.allesoverhetgebit.nl.

For some treatments, we work together with dental laboratories. These laboratories use their own rates. When this applies, we include this in the total costs of your treatment.

Your dental bill

Your bill is made up of the various procedures that were performed during your treatment. Each procedure has an associated performance code with a fixed rate, determined by the NZa.

Would you like to know in advance what costs you can expect? For treatments costing more than € 250, you will always receive a quotation in advance, so you won’t be faced with any surprises.

Invoicing via Infomedics

In order to give you our full attention and care in the practice, we have outsourced the sending and collection of our invoices to Infomedics. This is a professional and reliable company that specialises in healthcare invoicing.

You will receive your invoice from Infomedics by email as standard. If you would prefer to receive the invoice by post, you can let us know by telephone or email.

Your data and privacy

Infomedics handles your personal data with care and is ISO 27001 certified. This means that your data is processed and protected securely. More information can be found at www.infomedics.nl/privacy.

Pay online or by post

If you want to view and pay your bill online, Infomedics needs your email address and mobile phone number. This gives you secure access to the online portal via SMS verification.

If you prefer a paper invoice, you can set this up in your personal Infomedics portal. More information can be found at www.infomedics.nl.

Payment term and payment arrangement

Infomedics has a payment term of 30 days. If you are unable to pay the bill on time, please contact Infomedics’ Service Desk as soon as possible on 0900 – 404 94 04 (€ 0.35 per call). They can work with you to find a payment arrangement.

Reimbursement by your health insurer

Which dental costs are reimbursed depends on your (supplementary) health insurance. Insurers decide for themselves:

  • which treatments are reimbursed
  • up to what maximum amount
  • and whether there is a maximum reimbursement per treatment

It is possible that part of the costs will be at your own expense. We therefore advise you to check your policy conditions carefully or contact your health insurer. General information about costs and reimbursements can be found at www.allesoverhetgebit.nl/alles-over-kosten-en-vergoedingen.
